This all is coming from the month when Mulayam and his chief minister son Akhilesh were involved in a show of strength for the position of party president and electoral symbol (Bicycle). Few months’ earlier when family fight between the patriarchs of Samajwadi Party took center stage. The Fight between uncles Shivpal Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav entered into lime light and latter with the interference of Mulayam Singh Yadav (MSY) was expelled from the party. Things got worse when months-long power struggle in the Yadav clan started impacting the electoral prospects of the largest political influencing state of our country. Ram Gopal Yadav joined the hands of Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav joined the hands with MSY and this whole incidence finally converted into father-son tussle.

Early this month, we witnessed the father-son tussle for post of the party president and electoral symbol. Later on son Akhilesh Yadav was able to win the battle against his father for symbol of his party (bicycle) by showing the majority in front of Election commission. Not to forget here that this party was created and nurtured by his father only.
Later on his series of advertisements on social media reflected that he wants to mend the relationships with his father and his father also blessed him for his good future at the realm.

But was this fight only for the post of Party president or for party symbol? While the media was going berserk over the fight and this tussle, we seem to forget the real agenda that is development, corruption and poor law and order of the state.  In this media attention we forgot that the life of common people somehow or other depends on the election. Election is just about to happen and tie between Congress-SP has been hitched already. Doesn’t it hint at SP feud: A gimmick or well thought political move?

With the Samajwadi Party, expect the unexpected…………….
