UK Media Reports reveal that terror groups have leveraged Social Media platforms like Facebook to buy weapons to wage war against the world nations.
Well, as the saying goes, “Every coin has two sides” now we see the evil side of the social media platform usage. This is a paradigm of the extent to which Facebook can be misused. How is Zuckerberg going to react upon this?
Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, has been trending a lot in the Indian media in the recent times regarding his fight against Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for his “Free Basics Plan”. Despite facing setbacks and criticism from both TRAI and the people he still continues his fight for providing Free Basics and is positive about it.
It’s pretty impressive to see him stay committed to what he believes will make the society more connected and a better place. Now he has a bigger and petrifying problem in the society to fight. The problem comes in the form of guns and weapons of destruction moving into the hands of the most inhumane terror group in the world, ISIS.
The reports if proven true, that Facebook is one of the breeding grounds for terror groups, what shall be Zuckerberg’s strategy. Will he wage a war against ISIS as they did against the world? Or will he just let it go?
