Ever thought, people who leave their home country are always concerned about their families who are distant sitting in another corner of the world. Dubai-based Aster DM Healthcare and RAK Insurance envisaged there concern and jointly launched a life and hospitalisation insurance scheme for non-resident Indians (NRI) to extend care to their families back home. A country where 42% of the population comprises of Indians had to be responsive to their needs and hence took this step to take off the burden of their families.

ARISE is a lively example where not only accident cover and health care benefits are provided but also peace of mind, that care will be given with the help of quality hospitals. It’s the first NRI protection plan of its own kind launched to help the community in your home country. NRI’s and their families are often unprepared for these unexpected situations and needed some sort of medical attention. The scheme involves exclusive benefits for spouse, children, parents and in-laws.

It is very important to cater to the needs of your families especially when it comes to their safety and protection. Such schemes shortens the bridge between the NRIs and their distant community. Available to only NRIs in the UAE, the scheme would soon be extended to other GCC countries. Hope this scheme proves helpful to all the NRIs in UAE to give some support and a beholding shoulder to their families back home in India.
