In today’s world when potential online business is increasing manifold in India, websites like Flipkart and Amazon are common names in every household. Online shopping being the most convenient way to buy almost anything, makes life simple and shopping, less time consuming.
Taking this into account, companies like Flipkart has launched its “Big Billion Days” where it gives huge discounts to its customers. This was a great success in the past. Amazon India has launched a similar concept known as “Great Indian Festive Sale” in the festive month of October. Flipkart and Amazon are big names when we speak of e-commerce and they have dominated the online shopping market tremendously.
The Big Sale announced by Amazon India from October 13 to October 17, will be available to its customers in its website and mobile app. Flipkart on the other hand, will provide the sale through the app only.
Using marketing strategies, Amazon India will be giving special offers to its app using customers on October 16 and 17. Amazon India want to make this grand “Great Indian Festive Sale” widespread and a success. Let us look forward to see if they are able to fare well and give their rivals Flipkart, a tough competition.
