According to Times of India dated Apr 2, 2015 Saina Nehwal became the first Indian woman badminton player to attain the number one spot in world rankings, Saina took over the reins from China’s Li Xuerui, who slipped to third with Spain’s Carolina Marin claiming the second position.

This news has given a new hope for all Indians especially to the sports enthusiast.Overwhelming positive response from Indian citizens is clearly evident from their postings in social media networks such as facebook, twitter etc.

In cricket World cup-2015 till semifinals when India was winning all the games we could find the same overwhelming positive response from the citizens of our country. As soon as Indian cricket team lost in semifinals we can find lot of critiques against the team and especially against the captain Mr MS. Dhoni. Even Dhoni’s house was surrounded by tight security. We can also large proportion of positive attitude shown by our citizens appreciating our cricket team and our capitan Dhoni

With in three days after her achievement Saina Nehwa was knocked out from Malaysia Open and lost the No. 1 ranking .Though Saina lost her position we could not find much critiques. The news by hindustantimes dated Apr 05, 2015(http://www.hindustantimes.com/othersports/saina-nehwal-out-of-malaysia-but-here-s-why-she-may-soon-be-back-to-the-no-1-spot-again/article1-1334037.aspx) is much focused on reasons why Sania may get back her number one position rather than focusing on why she lost the game. This gives us the evidence of positive outlook of Indians towards the sports. Lets hope that same spirit will be shown by us towards all sports including cricket. The above statements are purely my opinion. My intention is only to express my happiness towards our positive outlook but not to hurt anyone.
