Apple to hit 1 Trillion Market Capitalization?

On Mar 25, 2015, The Economic Times reported that, Apple might be the first company to hit the $1 Trillion market capitalization. Currently, the company has a market capitalization of $ 744 Billion. The buzz started around February this year, when Apple’s shares surged to a new high.

These reports come at a time when Apple is planning to launch its new watch. Although a major share of Apple’s revenue is still coming from the sales of iPhone, analysts have high hopes for Apple watch. Apple too is aggressively marketing its new watch and expecting good sales. Other than this, Apple is also expected to gain a lot of moolah from the increased demand of iPhone in China, owing to their expanding 4G network.

Apple’s rebound has amazed a lot of industry experts and many of them are wondering the recipe for this success. Other potential firms in the 1 Trillion race include Google, Tesla and Microsoft. However, the possibility of a dark horse winning this race can’t be totally eliminated. Irrespective of which firm achieves this target first, the markets can surely expect some exciting times ahead.
